Because you can spell renaissance. That’s important because we don’t work with just anyone. Getting to these words isn’t meant to be easy. It’s meant to be for a small set of people. One because we only work with people we believe are on their way to being world-class in the area they’ve chosen (or the area that has chosen them). Two because we have something in common - we don’t have unlimited resources. So it’s incredibly important we are precise and decisive with who we elect to work with. Someone that can spell renaissance but is simultaneously intrigued by an entirely new word? That sounds like a good start.

Because you might have questions about what’s next, how to get there, who you are. Or perhaps you are even exploring your life’s purpose. These are not leper questions. You are not bad or different because you have them. You are among the few willing to admit to themselves and others that you have questions. You might also be unwilling to accept the simplest, most visible path.

Because you’re not in a rush. You’re still reading this. It means you have the patience, curiosity, and perhaps even grit to continue down new avenues. Sometimes many at once. You’re also not satisfied with normalcy or popularity. Based on what I know so far, you might be a renaissance man or renaissance woman. No, a renaissancer is not someone who lacks focus. It’s someone who enjoys exploring. Someone multidisciplinary. In my experience, renaissancers can be just as vivid as those who are ultra-focused in one area. In some cases, renaissancers can weather localized storms more adeptly because they learn fast, switch easily, and continue the learning process throughout their lifetime.
